Closed cycle apparatus allows us to reach low temperatures (3.5 K) without liquid helium supplies.
At this moment we can investigate basic transport and elastic properties (at ambient and hydrostatic pressure up to 3 GPA). Also, this apparatus is used for investigation of transport properties in diamond anvil cells (quasi-hydrostatic pressures up to 11 GPa).
All above mentioned properties can be measured both without and with (0.1 T) magnetic field.
Currently, refurbishment of this apparatus in ongoing, once it is finished we will be able to measure the heat capacities and AC magnetic susceptibilities, too.
