Abstract:
Possible experimentalists approaches to characterize the magnetic order in intermetallics compounds will be discussed, mainly in the context of understanding the character of the order and its possible influence by both, thermal and non-thermal parameters. Several uranium and cerium compounds will serve as illustrative cases of magnetic phase transition under (multi-)extreme conditions, both in thermal and quantum regime.
