Vacuum boxes are dedicated for the storage of samples unstable on air. 3 boxes in the unit are continuously pumped by scroll pump down to the vacuum limit 10^-2 mbar. One box is kept on atmospheric pressure of pure nitrogen. Operation of the boxes (opening, closing and evacuation) is fully automatic operated from the front panel. Vacuum boxes are filled in by nitrogen before opening.

Boxes are easily openable and samples can be retrieved or placed into them in matters of few minutes.
